Weeze

Today's strip was based on actual events that took place in a fictional world.  It's titled 'weeze' not because I was wheezing during the run but because we were listening to Weezer as we ran.  

This was my first attempt at painting a background in Photoshop.  I'm super happy with how it turned out.  I like the background painting better than the actual finished comic.  

Oh, and if you hadn't noticed (I didn't) this is the 100th post of MSJAR!  Crazy!

Time Well Spent

I hadn't played 'Tiny Tower' before I started playing 'Star Wars: Tiny Death Star' so I had no idea what I was getting myself into.  Here is a basic overview of the game from the App Store:

"Amidst a civil war in a galaxy far, far away, the Emperor is building a Death Star level by level, and he needs your help. Intergalactic war is expensive, and space stations are, too. Do you have any idea how much it costs to build one the size of a moon?

Live life on the dark side, and join Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader on a mission to attract Galactic bitizens, run intergalactic businesses, and build an all-new Death Star! With that hard-earned money, fund the Empire’s evil schemes to defeat the Rebels and conquer the galaxy once and for all! " 

I've really enjoyed the game so far.  I love the 8-bit style and the music is awesome!  If you have an iPad or an iPod I recommend downloading this game.  Oh, and it's free by the way.

Self Reflection

Last one for the week.  Enjoy your weekend--and perhaps take some time to reflect upon your own life, while reading comics? (its a good idea).
